杭州市体育局牵头举办的“钱潮杯”国际青少年足球邀请赛，得到了余杭区人民政府以及浙江职业足球俱乐部的共同承办，杭州市足球协会与杭州市足球运动管理中心亦提供了有力的协助。这项赛事，作为杭州市的一项国际级青少年足球盛事，被赋予了引领全市青少年足球竞赛潮流的重任。
在2025年，首届“钱潮杯”赛事拉开帷幕，汇聚了国内外的U14足球队伍。来自大区青训中心苏州基地的选拔队、浙江省足球管理中心、上海申花足球俱乐部以及杭州市足球管理中心等四支国内球队，与法国里昂、法国欧塞尔、日本浦和红钻、韩国全北现代、乌兹别克斯坦的缔造者以及俄罗斯新西伯利亚等六支国际劲旅，共同组成了这场盛事的参赛阵容。经过激烈的角逐，上海申花U14队最终脱颖而出，荣获首届“钱潮杯”的桂冠。
In the current year, the second edition of the "Qianchao Cup" has expanded its participation to include teams within the U15 age bracket, with the number of competing teams rising to a total of twelve. Among these, six teams hail from within the nation, including Zhejiang FC, Jiangsu U15, Zhejiang Football Management Center U15, Shanghai Shenhua, Chongqing Youth Training U15, and Hangzhou U15. The remaining six teams are international entries, featuring Barnsley, Chiang Mai of Thailand, Red Star Belgrade, Santander竞技, Tashkent Football Association, and Standard Liege.

A组由浙江FC、江苏U15、伯恩茅斯、泰国清迈、贝尔格莱德以及浙江足管中心U15共六支球队组成，而B组则包括上海申花、重庆青训U15、桑坦德竞技、塔什干足协、杭州U15以及标准列日等六支队伍。
The competition is structured into two main phases: the group stage and the ranking stage. In the group stage, teams engage in a round-robin format, contesting over five rounds to determine their standing. The ranking stage features direct confrontations between teams of identical rankings from Groups A and B, with a single match deciding the outcome, thus crowning the champions, runners-up, third-place finishers, as well as those ranked fourth to twelfth.
在接受媒体访谈中，重庆青年训练U15队的主教练郭明月阐述道，上海申花与浙江FC均是国内足球界的实力派队伍。上海申花作为上届冠军，队内众多球员曾代表国家队出战。在当前赛季，上海申花有望再次问鼎“钱潮杯”的荣誉。
